Syncing your device
Syncing Mobile App to Web Portal
It is important to sync as frequently as possible and at least at the end of a day.
You must have network coverage while syncing.
How to sync your Mobile App
You can sync your mobile app from any screen by clicking on the Kebab menu (3 vertical dots in top right corner) → "Sync":
  Â
How to view sync status
Go to "Main Menu" and click on "SAMS Diagnostics" to see your sync status:
  Â
- Last Sync Date/Time: This is the date and time of the last time you synced.
- Records Queue: This is data which have been captured on your mobile device, but not yet synced from the SAMS Mobile App to the SAMS Web portal. This should always be "0" before you click on "Logout".
- Attachments Queue: This refers to photos or signature's captured on your mobile device, but not yet synced from the SAMS Mobile Application on your mobile device to the SAMS Web portal. This should always be "0" before you click on "Logout".
Click on "Refresh Sync Status" when "Records Queue" or "Attachments Queue" is not "0".
Syncing different modules
It is important to take note that certain data is only downloaded to the device once the role has been switched to a new role.
I.e. if a user switches from Movables Admin to Immovables Admin, there will be additional data that is synced to the device (and de-synced).
Users should be at a stable connection when switching roles.
