Hortec/iLeaf weatherstation integration into MFW SOP

Acquiring the API of the unique station

A customer needs to give permission to MFW to get the API and approval from Hortec is needed.
It is preferred that the customer contact Hortec directly to ask for this by email. They need to send the email to
gerhard@hortec.co.za and CC schalk@myfarmweb.com and/or henry.duckitt@myfarmweb.co.za
Hortec will give approval and ask their IT specialist to load the weatherstation API onto MFW https://iwebtec.net/dataservice/MyFarmWebXq2.svc/Stations?$format=json. Schalk or Henry gets the unique identifier from this website. e.g.
The "station id" is used to integrate it with MFW

Loading the weather station onto MFW

On the "MyFarmWeb Administration - Global" platform go the "Farms" in the left column and search and select for the applicable farm where the weather station.
On the "Change farm" tab scroll down to the Hortec weather station
Enter the "station ID required from https://iwebtec.net/dataservice/MyFarmWebXq2.svc/Stations?$format=json.
If more than one station needs to be entered, use a semicolon without spaces between the unique identifier3 e.g. .
Click "Save"
Check if the weather station is showing on the MYFARMWEB platform.

Viewing the Hortec/ileaf data on MFW

It will show under the weather tab on the top horizonal icons
The client must then click on the "H" on the right hand side of the pop up screen to access the weather. It will display as follows:
a drop down list for all stations that is connected to the farm is visible. Choose the applicable station
If one clicks on a day that needs to be visbile the detail of the specific day will become visible.
Options at the bottom is a Rainfall forecast and
a Spray forecast
If the customer requires more to access the iLeaf website he can click on the link at the bottom which says "Hortec iLeaf Data"
